On our way to Illinois from Michigan, we got to stop off at the Indiana Dunes. It is a state park on Lake Michigan with giant sand dunes all around. The kids had a blast! The water was freezing - it was only 80 degrees outside and we guessed the water to be around 40-50 degrees, but it sure didn't slow them down!
We were there with my parents and my brother, Curtis and his family. His son Cade is almost 2. He and Jake had fun together (most of the time)! :) They are about 7 months apart so they liked a lot of the same toys. :) We had such a great time with them!
This is the closest we'll get to being at a beach this summer, so I took lots of pictures and pretended we were at the ocean!
