Our good friends, Brandon and Nichole Ogden welcomed a new baby into the world Saturday evening. It was so exciting because when we moved to Missouri, Chuck taught both of them in 6th grade History. He taught them from 6th grade until their senior year in High School. He also coached Brandon in 6 years of football and Nichole in 2 years of basketball. Since they graduated, got married and had a baby, we are officially old!!!
We decided to make a quick trip to Missouri. We were thrilled to meet little Landry Isaiah Ogden! He was a perfect 7 pounds with lots of soft black hair. What a sweetie!!
It was also fun to be with our other friends from Missouri! A trip back to Missouri isn't complete without reuniting with the whole gang! We were even able to see our friends, Anthony and Nell who are heading off to be Missionaries in the Dominican Republic. It was a treat to get to see them - they leave in less than two weeks for language school in Costa Rica!
We had so much fun. I'm surprised we didn't get kicked out of the hospital!! Thanks everybody for a GREAT time! We miss you all!!

Anna is getting so big!! Granted, she has nothing on Jacob, but not many babies his age do! haha ;)
Do you guys still go to SEBC?
She is getting big! She seems so much older now that she is walking all over the place! We do still go to SEBC. What about you? Are you still at Grace?
No--we can't afford the gas to go over there enough to get involved (does that makes sense??). We really like the RP church here, but would never be able to join b/c we don't agree w/ a couple of their teachings (mainly infant baptism--it's a long story but they don't baptize babies as a means of salvation like some Lutheran churches do, it's as a "sign of the covenant". If any of that makes sense!). We tried SEBC a long time ago (after we first got married) and just never felt welcomed out there. We might have to give it another try. It's frustrating not having a church home!
We would love to have you give SEBC another try! I know one family that would love to have you there :) and I'm sure many more would be excited if you came back!!
