As the snow was falling last week, I had the rare privilege in the middle of the day to sit by the window and watch the snow fall with a cup of coffee and my Bible. I enjoyed reading in the quiet with my blanket watching the beauty of God's creation. A few minutes into my surreal experience, Jake woke up. He saw me enjoying God's Word and the beauty outside and wanted to join me. We got him all set up with his own blanket and a mug full of "cold hot chocolate." :)
He watched the snow fall while I finished up my reading. He was so sweet. He kept saying "This is so nice, this is so nice!" As he sat gazing out the window, he sighed and said "Mommy, I'm so happy with God!" I asked "Why Jake?" And he said "Because he brought down all this snow!!" What a sweetheart.
May I rejoice too over the little things God gives us.

ahhh! Seriously so sweet. I am glad some one else besides myself looks outside with a smile at the snow falling. I love it.
